THE PAP GUARANTEE

Our production process and quality methodology, which enables us to deliver each panel at the same high level of quality that our customers appreciate, are explained in detail below.

THE PRODUCTION PROCESS

Our production system is developed to increase efficiency and ensure the best product.

From the start of the production process, the panel passes each production stage until it reaches its final packaging stage.
The continuous process begins with 4 unwinders for the automatic incorporation of steel. The steel sheets are exposed to an optimal temperature to guarantee perfect adherence of the foam that, once injected, is treated in high-performance furnaces to encourage it to grow to optimum density and uniformity.
Custom cutting of the panel as indicated on the Production Order and in the specifications of the customer’s order.
The polyurethane foam is cooled and stabilised in the stabilisation area.
Milling process to obtain a perfect joint between panels and to guarantee the continuity of the insulation in the panel, avoiding thermal leaks in the final installation and guaranteeing the seal.
The process ends in the automatic packaging area, where batches are left ready for delivery and the most stringent control systems are applied for the traceability of each of the panels produced.
A modern, fully automatic process guarantees a higher quality product.

QUALITY CONTROL

The production process for PAP panels is permanently reviewed and monitored using new generation software to ensure the strict control of each phase involved in the manufacturing of our panels.

In addition to this computerised control of the entire process and its different phases, all the raw materials involved are subject to strict internal control on arrival at our plant, thus ensuring they all fulfil the quality standards and features requested.

These raw materials are from leading manufacturers and also meet all specifications and requirements in terms of thickness (physical-mechanical values), safety, and the environment.

Because it is a continuous process, each production phase is subject to a series of specific internal examinations to permanently guarantee the suitability of the components and of the manufactured product. Furthermore, once the product has been manufactured, it is subjected to strict quality control where tests are performed regarding traction, compression, bending, core density, thermal conductivity, dimensional controls, and others, as specified in Standard EN 14509.

These controls and specifications for both raw materials and finished products are in turn audited by several official bodies (FM APPROVAL, CSTB, among others), which means that PAP must always maintain the same quality levels and follow protocols to keep these certificates and ensure the traceability of all our products.

PAP has a traceability system to ensure the best product reaches our customers. Each panel is labelled with a code that refers to the production order and to all specifications regarding the raw materials used, finishes, thicknesses.
