The insulating properties of QUANTEC® PIR remain unchanged for much longer, allowing us to offer a guarantee of up to 50 years on its insulation capacity*
The QUANTEC® formula has been tested and has achieved one of the best thermal conductivity coefficients on the market – Lambda λ=0.018 W/mK.
This represents a reduction of +/-20% compared to traditional PIR, allowing for more space in the cold room to preserve or refrigerate with maximum quality and protection and reducing the energy consumption needed to maintain interior temperatures.
Another improvement that QUANTEC offers is its new innovative joint system, based on a triple tongue-and-groove and a final precision profiling, which is unique on the market.
This joint provides total sealing of the installation, preventing temperature loss, ensuring maximum hygiene, and exceptional mechanical and chemical resistance.
All installations built with QUANTEC® panels are guaranteed to meet Euroclass fire reaction rating B,s1-d0, defined under the UNE-EN 13501-1 standard, which evaluates fire and flame propagation in specific situations.
In addition, QUANTEC® has obtained FM 4880 and FM 4881 certifications, having been tested without silicone in the joints. This seal ensures technical integrity and reduces construction risks.
Its materials are free from HCFCs and can be handled safely for human health. They are also 100% recyclable.
